Revision & Decline Guidelines
Revision Process
Not all papers are accepted immediately. In many cases, the administrative and review committees will request modifications to improve the quality of the manuscript.
- Admin Review: The admin reviews the submission and determines that changes are necessary.
- Revision Comments: The admin enters specific revision comments detailing what needs to be fixed.
- Dashboard Notification: These comments appear directly in the user dashboard.
- Upload Revision: The user addresses the feedback and uploads the revised PDF document.
- Version Control: The old version is preserved in the system for reference.
- Re-evaluation: The revised submission returns to the review queue for re-evaluation.
Decline Process
If a submission fundamentally fails to meet the conference scope, quality standards, or ethical guidelines, it will be declined.
- Mandatory Reason: The admin is required to enter a mandatory, specific reason for the decline.
- Status Update: The user's status immediately becomes Declined.
- Visibility: The exact decline reason is displayed prominently under the status in the user dashboard.
- Record Preservation: The submission record is preserved for auditing purposes.
- Resubmission: Resubmission of a declined paper depends entirely on admin permission or specific conference policy. Usually, a declined paper cannot be simply re-uploaded without profound structural changes.
